Trevor Gillies Suspended 10 Games For Hit on Cal Clutterbuck

Trevor Gillies, a goon for the New York Islanders, was slapped down by the NHL on Friday afternoon with a 10 game suspension. The 10 game suspension is a result of a vicious blind hit on Cal Clutterbuck, when Clutterbuck was not even involved in the play. Justice was served, as Gillies was just returning from a suspension already when he hit Clutterbuck. You must protect your players in the NHL and I'm glad the NHL hit him with a 10 game suspension.
